@javababy87:  I would call your doctor and see if you can come in sooner if you are really worried about it! And stay off Dr. Google!

Just in case, I would switch from tampons to pads.  If you have any kind of infection or something, it would be better for you not to have anything inserted.

@javababy87:  Is the pill you switched to one of those pills where you skip your period or ony get it every few months?

That happened to me ALL the time–A week of dark brown bleeding/spotting.

@javababy87:  I spotted brown for 5-7 days during week 6.  I had an ultrasound at week 8 with a healthy baby. I thought FOR SURE I was going to MC. But nope…I think my uterus was expanding and expelling all old blood.

@javababy87:  Definitely stay off Google. Everything seems to lead back to cancer if you Google enough. I had this same things a few years ago. My doctor had me switch bcp brands and it got worse, then I switched once or twice more and eventually back to my original brand. It stopped on its own after a few months and was just a fluke hormone thing. Check with your doctor, but I wouldn’t worry too much.

Oh, and I had been on the pill for about ten years with no issues when this started.

I’ve spotted on BCP a lot, but it was always have I missed a pill or two.  But once and awhile it might have happened on my last few pills, like my body knew it was time or something.  When I got pregnant (I wasn’t on BCP though) I did have a lot of implantation bleeding though.  But since you haven’t missed a pill I’d think it was unlikely you were pregnant.

I’m sure everything is ok, just check with your Dr. as soon as you can!
