I love my simple dress, but the more I see other ladies dresses I also love the pop of color that some of you have added. I am considering speaking to the seamstress at my first fitting to see if she can add on a long orange ribbon just under my bust, where the dress goes from “bling” to “no bling”. I’m thinking maybe even with the tails of the potiential bow falling downt the back of the dress to the end of the train.
What do you think, ribbon or leave it alone?

I think a ribbon would look sweet and romantic but in ivory or white (same color as your dress) I’m not a fan of orange on any wedding dress.
ETA: You could use orange to pop some color in your bouquet flowers though!

Personally, I wouldn’t add a colored ribbon. You could try a blingy belt, if anything. Remember that you will have a colorful bouquet, jewelry and a veil on!

First: your dress is amazing! I love it!
Second: I voted for a sash, but I think it looks equally good without it. I also think the sash shouldnt be colored.

I wouldn’t do a colored ribbon. I think you might look back and regret it.
I’d stay with a sash close to the color of your dress.

My dress is much different, but I added a sash – a RED one – and I’m telling you, what a difference! It MAKES the dress…and it’s also got a slimming property to it….which I love 🙂
Colored sashes are very ‘in’ at the moment too!

I think your dress lookes great the way it is now. But if you want some color then add a ribbon. I think either will look good.
