personally, i’m not a fan of the buttons to the floor, it looks awkward.  the dress is gorgeous.

Leave it. The train is absolutely breathtaking.

I think you should. I don’t want to say that it looks odd having buttons only at the top…because it doesn’t…but I think continuing them all the way will make it look more completed.

BurlapnLace:  don’t do it. I am a big fan of buttons to the floor on otherwise plain trains eg a satin train. But I think it would detract from your gorgeous detailed train if you added buttons to yours! Leave your dress as it is. It is perfect, and if you mess with it you might regret it.

YES! Do it! I looooooove buttons that go all the way down! So elegant and feminine. Nothing could talke away from that beautiful train, trust me, u will be glad u did! Plus it will make ur gown more personalized and one of a kind. Ur own special touch!

I think “infinity buttons” are weird.  I mean, the purpose of a button is to close the opening of the dress.  The opening doesn’t go all the way to the bottom.  I’m not a fan of using practical items as decoration in situations where they aren’t being used.

My dress had a very intricate lace train WITH buttons all the way to the hem.  I don’t feel like the buttons detracted from the dress in any way at all.  I loved the buttons.  If you like them and want them, do it!

can you add a pic that has buttons to the floor on lace so we can see what that kind of looks like?

I say keep it how it is.  The buttons to the floor could dominate the beautiful lace train.

I had buttons added the full length of my full lace dress and loved the look! But I love buttons too – so I vote go for it!

BurlapnLace:  I think that the covered buttons to the floor would take away from the beauty of the dress 😛
