I know! I'm just so happy that these will probably be available in my country by the time I get married.
Does anybody know if you can request dresses at bridal shops if they don't stock them in store already? Say, if I wanted to go to a particular store that normally carries Maggie Sottero, could I just call them and ask them if they have the Bronwyn or Carolina dress and if they do, make a fitting appointment. If they don't, they might be able to order it from the USA for me and then have a fitting?
I've just found another one! How can I have missed this one?!
It's not by Maggie Sottero, but the Sottero & Midgley line, also the new 2013 spring collection. The dress is called Lara.
LOVE IT!

Oh and I've found photos of the Maggie Sottero Fashion Show in NYC:
So far, I'm liking the Bronwyn best!

Hope this is useful for anyone! It certainly is for me :D
They are all beautiful. Can't wait to see some lucky Bee wearing one!
Hi all,
Here I am in the Bronwyn gown! As I said on another thread, the key-hole looks more "oval-ish" here because they clipped the dress in the back and it pinched the key-hole a bit. When it is in my size, it will be more circular. I also tried on the Carolina, and it was WAY more structured at the bottom, and I didn't like it at all (but hey, that's why we try on dresses). There was something about this one that flowed so naturally and had such a classic, elegant vibe to it. Not to mention, it has a rockin' train!
I like the Lara best. Wow!
@svanfle: I think that dress looks better on you than it does in the ad or on the model! I love it on you
@svanfle: I love this dress on you! I'm also interested in it, but was wondering how it was on support in the bust area... Is it supportive on its own, or is it just a thin slip dress underneath? Just wondering... Thanks, congrats!
As far as I could tell, it was super supportive because of how it buttons behind the neck (I'm pretty sure it is a thin slip underneath, I can't remember if there was any sort of underwire or not). I am going to get some cups sewn in to give me an extra boost on the big day, but it definitely felt supportive when I tried it on.
i tried the bronwyn on today and fell in love. i always thought i'd like the bernadette better but no, no, no. the bronwyn, in gold with the ivory overlay, is timeless and gorgeous and o.m.g. i love it. sigh.
@svanfle: no, I haven't gotten it yet....still need to do a bit of looking around just to be sure, sure but I can't see finding anything more perfect for me....
@sfp: neither of the shops allowed photos unless you were buying sadly : (
i ordered Carolina size 6. Btw it runs small - I usually wear dresses in size 10.

here is a pic of the back... the dress I have on is 3 sizes bigger. sorry, I do not have a better picture but the bottom part looks pretty. I tried on several Maggie Sottero dresses and it really was a tough choice.
I picked up my Bronwyn yesterday, for reference I got the 6 and I normally wear an AU 8-10

Wow it looks stunning on you! Love love love it.
Is it just the quality of the photo or is your sash lighter?
Hi, has anyone found a bridesmaid dress to match the light gold of the Bronwyn? thanks!
I have fallen in love with the Lara dress. The sample I tried on is 7 inches too long for me! and a few sizes too big so the back isn't fitting very well but it gives you an idea of what it's like. I still adore it. I love the sash with the flowers - I think it makes the dress for me. I think this could be the one for me - exciting!!!!!
@Eire_Bride_2014: Oooh wow! I love it on you! I've been dying to see it on an actual bride and it looks so good on you! Sure, it a bit too big, but that's due to the size. I'm sure the right size will look stunning. I love the bottom even more than I thought it would. And the neck line suits you really well. Thanks for sharing!

First of all: Happy New Year to you all!
Second of all: Good news to all lovers of the Bernadette keyhole back dress by Maggie Sottero.
I absolutely love love love this dress, but since it's from the 2011 collection, I fear it'll disappear sooner or later, before I get married at least (and living in the Netherlands might be hard to find a leftover dress).
But now I've discovered that in the new Spring 2013 collection of Maggie Sottero, there's a new keyhole back dress, that's nearly as stunning as the Bernadette! This makes me so happy, as this will definitely be available when I get married.
This is the new dress of the 2013 collection. It's called Bronwyn and though it looks like it has less sparklies, I absolutely love the lacey keyhole. I also like the addition of the satin ribbon. Would it be available in different colors too?

I'm sorry, I'm just so extastic now. I have been dreaming about the Bernadette dress for months and I know others have too, so I thought I might share this piece of information, maybe to inspire others!
Edit:
I've also just discovered the Carolina dress on the 2013 collection by Maggie Sottero. This one seems to be even more a copy of the Bernadette dress. It's so similar!

Absolutely LOVE it! People, I am so happy!
