So I am really thinking of having a winter wedding. I love the look and feel of wintery weddings. The weather scares me though. Have any winter brides had bad weather but everything worked out anyway? It might ease my mind to hear some stories..

I was a bridesmaid in a wedding where there was a snow storm that day. Everything ran a little behind because it took longer for everyone to get there but other then that it was awesome! The venue felt so cozy inside and I think snow is so romantic. I am not one of those people that freaks out about weather though, I just drive really slow so it didn't bother me at all. I am sure some people left early due to the weather but I was having too much fun to notice!

The other side of that coin is that there's no guarantee you will get the look and feel of a wintery wedding if it doesn't end up snowing. All of us chumps are plum out of luck this year. Pick a venue in the mountains, maybe. The tone is all set by the bride's dress anyway.

Yes very true but inside can still be a winter wonderland :) we're looking at a mountain lodge for the reception too with a really pretty fireplace and i just think its perfect for winter!
