I think the belt/sash craze needs to come to an end…..

I think the belt/sash dates the dress….. kinda like the big sleeves did in the 1980’s,……

I don’t think it’s too plain, but I voted belt because I think it really emphasizes your little waist!

I prefer it with the belt but I think you can find less expensive options.

@springbride23:  I just found out the belt I tried on with my dress is over 800 dollars!!

Luckily I have a lot of time and more belts to see.. But geeze!

@springbride23:  I love the belt! I had the same issue on Etsy though – not finding something I liked. I eventually went the custom route and it’s AMAZING. Check out Abigail Grace Bridal – she is a joy to work with and her prices are so much more reasonable. Plus, she does custom orders and can do pretty much anything.

It’s nice without the belt, but the belt is so nice.  I’m a DIY bride and I think you can get the same look for less if you or a crafty friend helped out.  Joann Fabrics sells “by the yard” materials and ribbons that are very nice and embellished.

I bet you or a friend can do this in under 30 minutes for under $50.

with, i like it because it breaks it up a bit and shows how tiny you are!

I would skip the belt and find a nice necklace with a similar design for less… then you can at least wear it again when belted dresses go out of style. 🙂
