Ok, so I have seen some posts on here about burlap runners, and I really think they are a great looking inexpensive way to liven up a table! My colors are Navy, yellow, and white.. so do you think the traditional burlap runners would look ok on white linen tables. My center peices are pictures below with the exception of a navy ribbon and lemons instead of Limes. Also, what kind of burlap would you suggest? The more industrial or more fabric like? Having a hard time deciding if that is going to tie into everything…Suggestions? Opinions? Thank you!!!

Burlap is not inexpensive at all, it’s pretty pricey. Unless you plan on making your own runners…

With the country like center pieces I think it would look awesome. It would fit well with a country theme

I bought burlap from our local fabric store for $1.99 a yard, so its pretty cheap. I’m not a great sewer and burlap looked complicated to sew so I used hot glue to do the hem and it looks good. You can also buy a coarse linnen fabric and use that as well.
If the price is right I say go for it.

We are doing burlap runners and chair bows and they weren’t all that pricey to rent! We are also doing them on white linens and I thought it would look great. I’m just trying to add some color in with the napkins…our colors are also blue, olive green, and yellow.
