@kellyagober: Hey kelly,
I ran across your post and just wanted to give a word of caution... I'm a seamstress at a bridal salon, and sometimes I take care of gowns that were purchased outside of our store, and often they were purchased online.... and often those have had some SERIOUS flaws....I'd DEFINITELY advice secondhand over a random website! This way you know its that designer....
I've seen dresses where the train was cut so that it fell to the side instead of behind the dress - ok for pictures, but awful for walking down the aisle... I saw another dress recently that should have been a floor length satin sheath with a chiffon overlay just one inch longer than the satin..... instead the satin ended somewhere around the brides knees and the chiffon went all the way to the floor! :( it was not good....
Fortunately those brides didn't mind it, or maybe even notice, so it did not detract from their special day, but it seems like you might want to be a little more attentive. Just because a website says made in the usa or london doesn't mean it is... and when expensive dresses are involved, you want to be sure language doesn't confuse anything you're asking for.
I got a replica from Dressily and it is beautiful. I absolutely love it, and I love the price! Another solution would be to get a seamstress in your local area replicate the dress.

Hi I am putting this out there to all you beautiful brides. Are there really any good websites to get designer gowns at a discount? I have fallen in love with a Jim Hjelm dress but I do NOT love the price. I've been thinking about getting it second hand but there really doesnt seem to be much supply. SO if there are any good websites for designer gowns PLEASE let me know. THANKS LADIES!
