you look the best on picture 3... love your dress is so cute
OPTION 3: The first 2 pictures...No crinoline not taken in at the waist
OPTION 4: don't have a picture but it would be taken in at the waist
I must be really tired... what exactly do you mean by "taken in at the waist" and "not taken in at the waist." The only crinolines I have worn zip up pretty high on my waist, so I just wasn't sure what that meant. Thanks!!
I just don't want my hips to look huge =( so I thought adding the crinoline and having it taken in a bit at the waist would help and add some more flair to the dress.
I pinned the fabric just like the seamstress would. The crinoline I have is a short skirt (actually from a halloween costume) that has a short waist band.
@emily: That's my RD dress! I love it! I'm not wearing crinoline with it, but I might for a wedding. Looks great on you!
@eryepye, Do you like it better on me with the crinoline or without? I was hoping to avoid alterations with the crinoline but I think it looks better taken in at the waist a bit (you can tell which pictures those are because 1 hand is behind my back)
I actually think option 1 looks really good. You could take it in at the waist, but with the crinoline, I don't think you need to. Which do you feel best in?
I lean towards option 1 as well, when its taken the bottom looks more triangulr instead of a gentle flare out. It was just FI and I at home (he was playing video games so I knew he wouldn't peek) so I couldn't get my bustier on which helps hold the dress up and it falls in all the right places. I emailed my bridesmaids but they're in TX and asleep so I thought I'd ask the bee's!
I cant really tell a huge difference. Knowing that, if your crinoline is as HOT and HEAVY as mine is, I would leave it off!
I cant really see a big difference but I think picture 1 looks the best.
I don't notice that much of a difference, so I would do whatever is most comfortable.
I have that dress- wore it for my engagement pics and plan to wear it again for my rehearsal. I would have it taken in at the waist but no crinoline- I just feel like that dress doesn't need any more "poof" in the skirt because of all the flowers.
I, too, do not see much of a difference so go for comfort. You will look lovely in it either way.

I love my BCBG dress, but want it to look perfect. Do you like option 1, 2, 3 or 4 better?
OPTION 1: The first 2 pictures are the dress with crinoline underneath NOT taken in at the waist
OPTION 2: The last 2 pictures are the dress with crinoline underneath taken in at the waist
