Hello everyone! I need your help:)
For some strange reason I’ve bought a beautiful second dress. Well, I loved it much and it was very different from my main dress, so I’ve bought it impulsively although I didn’t plan to have something “serious” as a second dress. And I’ve almost convinced myself that I will wear this dress for other occasions.;)
And everything was fine, until I’ve realized that we are going to dance tango. A real argentine tango, with all those steps, ochos, rase-a-leg elements etc. And it’s impossible to dance tango in a floor-length dress – all the beauty things in AT happen where your feet are. So now I have a dilemma. I cannot return the dress (tbh, I don’t want to). There’s always an option of cutting it to the knee-length, but it’s an irreversible action so I’m afraid to be sorry for what I’ve done.
I’ve had an idea of remaking it into a jumpsuit – I love jumpsuits, they’re are wonderful to dance in, – but the tailor told me it’s impossible to do since the dress is tight in hips.
So if you have any ideas what to do please tell me. Does anyone know how to tie a long dress somehow in a glam way? Or maybe make some invisible hooks in a similar way people usually hook the train? I don’t know how to make the ankles visible temporaly.
