So my Fiance and I decided a while ago to not have a DJ and instead use an IPOD/Computer playlist for our Ceremony and Reception. We plan to compile our own playlists, and put someone in charge of the music. We decided on this because
1. We are both a little anal, and want to pick our music, and don’t know any DJ that would appreciate a playlist of like 200+ songs.
2. We have a hard time paying for something that we can do ourselves (that goes for most things in life also).
3. We think, don’t DJ’s these days use a Computer anyways?
Now I know some people will say, no don’t do it-it is ______ enter adjective here i.e “trashy, ghetto, cheap” what have you. But besides that and the other thing about the DJ “feeling the crowd better” (We can change songs also) what other reasons do you have for or against an IPOD/Computer DJ.
And if you have used an IPOD/Computer, or attended a wedding where there was no DJ, what are your thoughts?
If you plan to use an IPOD/Computer what made you decide to go this route?
