Hey Bees I need your help…
I’m doing a small, family-only destination wedding at San Francisco city hall at the end of August. My dad and I will be heading down for a Mon-Wed in May to make some final decisions, but I’m worried that unless I make a very detailed itinerary I’ll forget to do something essential. So here’s what I have so far, can you think of anything else? Oh and we’re just doing a simple ceremony at city hall (but rented out, with our own officiant) with a private dinner afterwards so I don’t need to worry about planners or decorators or DJs or anything.
My Pre-Trip To Do list:
- Meet with two photographers and choose one
- Find a yummy restaurant with a private dining room
- Buy a low-back bra (for some reason they don’t sell those where I live!)
- figure out easy transportation to/from airport and/or for the day of
I know I’m forgetting things… what else would you add?

@AllieBee12: Maybe get some maps of the city for your family members? Check out locations for photos near the city hall & restaurant. Are you having flowers, do you need to find a florist?

Pay attention to ur flight and airport ease and inconveniences. Think about ur guests doing this same thing. Think about flight spacing if any guests may have a layover and so u can have suggestions for how to plan flights. Add up all costs associated with travel, which u already have listed. Sounds like ur venue is already chosen? Otherwise scope out plenty of potential venues and get the overall feel of it. Maybe visit some bakeries to meet vendors for ur cake and hair makep salons if u plan to have professional hair and makeup done. Maybe meet day-of coordinators if u don’t have a planner or coordinator attending already.

@traveller: Thanks! Photo locations are something I forgot and a Florist is probably a good idea. We really only need my flowers and my Fi’s bout. but it doesn’t hurt to shop around!
@BeeG35: Yes I’ll definitely have to be aware of what people will have trouble with and give them a heads up before hand. Luckily there will only be about 10 of us, and we should mostly be traveling together.
