So my husband and I have been married a little over a year now and while I love my set, I’m ready for something a little more.
my diamond is literally almost perfect and I don’t want to upgrade the stone because I love it and I’m pretty sentimental. So I was thinking about adding a double halo. I love halos but never knew much about them until after we were engaged.
I would keep a plain shank and keep my wedding band.
So bees wgo added a halo or something else to your ring, do you like it better? Was it worh it? And bees with a double halo, how do you like your ring?

And forgot to add pics! Here is my set and the double halo design I’m thinking about but with a plain shank!

@JemmyGee: Yes!! I just added a second halo for our first Anniversary, so I’m partial 🙂
Mind you I liked the look of a spaced halo, but most prefer it to be flush to make your center stone appear larger.

I would do a single halo, but if you like the look of double then go for it!

I usually don’t like double halos unless the centre stone is coloured, however I’ve seen a few white diamond double halos recently which are gorgeous, so my opinion is changing.
I do however, think double halos only work (with a clear stone or a coloured stone) if the centre stone is a carat or less and the stones in the halo are 1mm/0.01. I had 2mm stones in my halo (2.2 carat centre) and I thought they were much too large. They didn’t accentuate my centre stone as much as they took away from it and the daintiness I was looking for wasn’t there – IMO two halos of 2mm stones would look bulky, whereas two halos of 1mm stones would still look delicate, but substantial.

I like it the way it is! Or maybe a simple single halo, but double halos are too much for my taste
