I kept myself busy. And so I wasn’t wasting a bunch of money I just bought cheap pregnancy test strips. And used them when I got the Urge lol. Good luck 🙂

I’m not ttc yet, but I’m almost there. Commenting to follow (because I know I’m going to drive myself crazy!)

My advice is to wait it out as long as you can to avoid disapointment, I managed 12DPO but it was tricky!! Goodluck!

Threads like this bring me relief. I just buy cheapies…my bathroom is stocked with at least 100 cheap pregnancy and ovulation tests right now. Beginning about a week after I ovulate (often sooner, who am I kidding), I start peeing. I think it’s just psychological reinforcement, even though rationally I KNOW I am not going to get anything other than a negative on that test.

“Oh, still negative, well there’s nothing more I can do or think about right now. I’ll try again tomorrow.”

So yeah, I vote for cheap tests. I can spend $10 and get 50 or more…so I’m not too bothered by wasting tests.

I can’t test for six days either and I’ve gone thought $40 worth of tests even though I knew they’d be negative! I can’t stop myself, I rk eep telling myself Im not allowed to buy more for 7 days but its all I can think about.

Ive been eating more than usual (Im very good about dieting) and dizzy/puking but I don’t know if its in my head or not…this sucks so bad!

@CookieCreamCakes:  hahaha I thought it was just me!! I’ll get a negative and think “oh well maybe tomorrow will be better”…then pee and repeat. So horrible!

@MrsFireChief:  tested this morning and still BFN….I just ordered 25 wondfos tests because if DH knew the money I was wasting he’d kill me. I can’t deny that it breaks my heart a tad bit every time I see a BFN. I can’t imagine having to do this for months or even years at a time..

I “think” i’m at 12dpo, and the BFN’s are getting to me. I am going to try my hardest not to test until I considered late, because the BFN’s are not fun to see morning after morning.  I may have to tell my hubby to hide the tests 🙂  I’m not sure how to make the time go faster, but I hope it does for the everyone’s sake!

I agree… I’m going crazy waiting! I analyze every symptom- and I am trying to be realistic- it’s only our first cycle TTC, but it’s seriously always on my mind!  I should wait until next Tues or Wed to test, but I’ll prob test this weekend.  I did already once this week, but it was so early- I was being crazy!!  (BFN- obv)

I’m 4 days away from my period and normally I’d test by now but we’ve been trying for almost 2 years now and I can’t justify spending anymore test. Although, I don’t plan on testing at least 3 to 4 days after my period the wait is still as bad as it was the first month we started trying. Meh.
