Does he have a favorite band? Maybe you could get tickets for the two of you to go to a concert? Or a piece of memoribilia from a fav band or sports team - authentic jersey, signed ball, etc?
I'm putting together a crate full of "stuff" for him while he gets ready. So a bottle of scotch for him and the groomsmen (there are 8 of them, and it'll be a small bottle ;) ), some cigars, some neat snacks, and likely a pair of socks in case of cold feet. Have a peek at Kings Crate for inspiration. I was going to order from them and realized I could DIY it for way cheaper.
Does he have a favorite team? I just ordered my fiancée a picture of the Virginia Tech stadium from replay sports for my gift to him! And, I found a coupon for 15% off!
I got my husband a bicycle. I gave him an IOU for it so he could pick it out.
Oooh, Kayakgirl- LOVE the bicycle idea! I've been wrestling with what to get my FH as well, he doesn't wear a watch and rarely wears cufflinks. We've been talking about biking and how he needs his own bike, so this would totally work!
My BF is easy... but expensive :)
He's really into car modification so I will most likely get him something car related... or season tickets to his favorite college football team
I purchased tickets for my FI and I to go see O.A.R., one of his top favorite bands. It's about a month and a half BEFORE our wedding and I explained this was my gift to him. He was THRILLED and promised me he was going to get me an amazing gift in return. We shall see lol but I know he appreciates the tickets much more than a watch or a wallet.
I got mine cufflinks to wear the day-of - tradtional, and god knows when he'll wear them again hah....I also got him a piece of original art work - its a framed photograph taken in the city we are visiting on our honeymoon...so its 1. awesome, we love art and 2. it will forever remind us of our kickass honeymoon/wedding! :D
I am tossing around the idea of getting a crazy scotch/whiskey for him and the men...but we'll see, wedding is getting close and dollaz are getting short!

I'm starting to think about ideas for my future hubby and I have to say that I'm coming short. I've looked through list of what brides normally get grooms and none of them really fit. He
doesn't wear cufflinks,
has a wallet,
doesn't wear a watch,
doesn't have many friends that I could get tickets to games for, (but that may have to do)
Before I give up. Are there any of you who have amazing gift ideas that are UP TO DATE?? I'm looking for something unique but something He'll absolutely love!
