So my fiancé and I are working with a floral designer in our area for our wedding. We’ll be using pomander balls to decorate our ceremony space and we thought of hanging one at the end of every other row of chairs to define the aisle and tie in the pomanders that will be hanging at the front of the space. The florist has suggested that we use half pomander balls to hang on the chairs for two reasons: A) they won’t protrude into the aisle the way a full pomander would, and B) they are considerably less expensive.
Here is my concern: the chairs at the ceremony space are what I would call skinny, in that the sides of the chairs aren’t wide or flat, giving the pomander nothing to really rest against. I don’t want them all dangling there, backs out. I don’t know whether to insist on the full pomander or try the half.
If anyone has any experience in this area or can offer any advice, I’d appreciate it.
