I strongly prefer the solitaire over the double halo! Timeless and very beautiful. Really allows the center stone to stand out.

I personally think that if you don’t have tiny hands you should always go for the bigger size. I’m a 7.5 ring size and my center stone is a 5.53 carat cushion cut. It’s the perfect size for my larger hands ☺️

    I love the solitaire!

Though, flipping a coin may be a good idea! You’ll know by your reaction when you see which ring “wins” the flip if it’s the one you want or not 🙂

Hmmm, I’m really torn because I really don’t like solitaires, but I’m also not a big fan of double halos. I guess is choose the halo out of the two.

There is a whole ANTI-HALO movement on the bee right now so you may not get a true response here…(people are just trying very hard to look like they are NOT on the “band wagon”… Kind of like hipsters…lol… anyway….

Try both styles on in a local store and see what makes you feel the happiest.  I LOVE the the halo and its just as classy and timeless as the solitare.

I have a more simple style so I prefer that particular non-halo to that particular halo. I really prefer single halos with plain shanks (and basically plain shanks on most rings) that said, get what YOU will love!

There was a bee who had that double halo (one one very close to it ) from MCO and had nothing but problems with stone loss. She ended up giving the ring back to MCO and having one custom made. Just something to think about

I think the double halo looks clunky chunky (not in general, but the above one). I prefer halos (especially doubles) to be delicate.

I prefer the solitaire (I just got one myself yay). They are timeless and elegant and they are much less likely to have problems. Those little diamonds fall out all the time (it seems from this board) and it’s frustrating and sad to repeatedly have to be seperated from your e ring for repairs!
