I plan on keeping mine. I hope to do a Trash the Dress session first (although not REALLY trashing it) so I get another use out of it.

I’m having the same issue right now. It’s just going to sit in our attic and never get opened but I’m worried that I’ll regret selling it. FI told me we could use the money towards a vacation to Italy that we want to plan before we have kids which is really making this decision difficult. I am leaning more towards selling it and just keeping my veil. I’m sure I will be back and forth A LOT about this though. It’s so expensive to get it preserved and I just don’t know if it’s worth it.

I’m planning on selling mine, BUT I hear about a lot of brides who plan on selling, then can’t afterward because they love their dress too much. So I’d like to hear some responses on this too!

I am planning to sell mine. I do love my gown; however, I really have no need for it anymore. I do need to take it out of the bag and look at it though to see if it got dirty anywhere.

I sometimes think about selling mine.  I bought it for $950, did $300 worth of alterations and then dry cleaned it (didn’t preserve) for another $200.  That just seems like a lot of money to sell it for like 300 bucks… so it sits in my closet.

Keeping it.

I have an actual wedding gown that needs to be preserved properly that I’ll offer to my daughter (if she wants it, otherwise, back to storage it goes for any granddaughter who wants it, and hopefully it’ll stay in the family).

The gown I’m wearing for the wedding, I’m definitely keeping.  It’s gorgeous and can be worn for other black tie events. It’s also a GREAT incentive to keep small enough to wear it, lol.

I’m keeping mine and dying it purple. It’s a bridesmaid dress so it could be worn again to a dressy event, or shortened to be a flowy summer dress.

I’ll probably sell mine. I bought it from a friend so there really isn’t any kind of sentimental value attached to it and it takes up too much room in my closet, space that I’ll need for FH when he moves in.

I am keeping my dress.  I hope to someday pass it down to one of my boys future wife, grandaughter, or one of my neices.  Even if they use some of it, that is worth it to me.

I am keeping mine because mine is made to be custom fit to my body.
