So I have been eyeing a dress from David’s Bridal online for a while now. Well to my great surprise, when I decided to flirt with it again online today, I saw that it was on sale for $250! And they don’t have that many sizes of it left, but one of them is one size smaller than my size. Since I’m losing weight for my wedding anyway, I’m thinking this could be a great motivator to kick it into gear. (I have a year left). The only problem is, I have never tried this dress on in person, and it’s not available in stores. Also, the closest DB is 2 hours away from me, so it’s not like it’s easy to get to. I have tried on dresses at DB before though. This is an A-line, which I didn’t like any of the A-lines I looked at previously online, but when I tried them on in person found that they looked good on me. So, the question is – do I order it? I’m scared to order it without trying it on. But it is SUCH a good deal! I have looked into the return process, and it seems kind of complicated. Not sure I wanna mess with it. IDK.
What would you do?

I would order it. If it doesn’t work out, you can always resell it online. You’ve already tried on the general style so it doesn’t seem to big of a gamble.

Order it. I’m pretty sure if it’s an online exclusive, they take returns. Definitely doublt-check since it’s a sale dress, though!

@collegebride621: I’m curious to see what the dress looks like.

Hm. Seems worth trying. The return process can’t be THAT complex. Do you have pics of the dress, and maybe some of you in similar dresses?

@collegebride621: What is your dress budget? I wouldnt order it, especially if you havent tried it on. I bought my first dress very quickly because I thought it was a great price, then I realized I wanted something different as my wedding got closer. If money is an issue, you have more than half a year to find something you are 100% sure you love… dont gamble the $$

Does the dress have possitive feedback?

@collegebride621: Aline dresses flare so you will only have to worry about your top half and you have a year to do it. The dress is $250…not too steep. It will definitely motivate you to lose the weight but if you don’t you’ll still have the rest of your dress budget to purchase a new one.

@collegebride621: for a price like that, I would definitely order it. As it was mentioned by other Bees, if it doesn’t work out for you, you can sell it online.

I would order it if it were refundable/exhangeable.
I think Outlet dresses on DB are non-refundable.
