I was sort of a destination bride....my wedding was in Georgia which is 10 hours from my home! But we drove down. I can send you my packing list for our wedding and honeymoon as well if you would like! They are LENGTHY!! Its funny because a lot of the stuff on the honeymoon list we went out and bought and then I left an entire bag in my moms car before we left so much of the stuff on the list we didnt have and we were just fine!!!

I wasn't a destination bride but some items that come to mind are
Here's part of mine:
1. Stationary + nice pen, to write down people's room numbers to give to guests
2. Laptop or UBS in case my camera's memory card gets full
3. Printed copies off all correspondence w/ my wedding coordinator, maps of the area and where we'll be doing activities for guests, and an extra copy of the songs we want played
4. Clothes ...
bathing suits (3), large hat, sunglasses, lots of strapless tops so I don't get tan lines pre wedding, a formal/nice outfit for each night, wraps, beach coverups, 2 pairs of pants, robe for getting read in the room
5. travel steamer, wrinkle releaser, stain stick removers, etc
6. decor and gift bags :) We're brining all of our own candles... and lanterns... good thing American lets you bring 2 bags for free!!!
