your pics aren’t showing up! i would love to see it! i have seen one lately on a post, i will try to find and scan it in! as long as its dressy enough and not too “businessy” looking i think that would be beautiful for a civil ceremony!

I can’t see the pics but honestly, do what you want it is your day not your co workers or friends or family’s day.

I want to see your pics.  Can you re-post them?

I think it’s a great idea and it is YOUR day, so do what you are happiest with!

Maybe 15 years ago one of my family friends got remarried and she wore relatively flow-y ivory pants with a gorgeous ivory jacket.  I loved it!  I don’t know what your envisioning since the photos aren’t working, but you can do luxe and bridal in pant form, or you can do casual and comfy and the important thing is that you are comfortable, feel beautiful and, oh yea, you’re marrying the love of your life!  I think you should go for it (and post pictures!)

I say… PANTS!

It’s YOUR day…. do what feels good! (this is recycled advice that a lot of great members of this site gave to me when I started second guessing my decisions – they were right…… it’s YOUR day.) 🙂

You should really do what you want.  Are you rethinking, based on their reactions? (And want other opinions?) Are you simply annoyed?

You have to admit pants for a ceremony is pretty unconventional.  So you have to expect some people are not going to like it.  But if it’s what you want than just do it.  Would you be happier wearing something everyone else wants?  Then they can sleep at night knowing that you wore a dress to your wedding…  But you’re the one who has to wear it, and live with the memories/pictures of you wearing what others wanted you to wear.  Are these critics even invited to the wedding?

This totally reminds me of Carrie in the SATC movie – everyone talked her out of the suit she wanted to wear for her wedding and then her wedding got bigger than big and didn’t happen. Then she ended up wearing her pant suit when she finally married big!

You can learn everything from SATC LOL – so I vote wear pants!!!!!

I love it, I think you should rock what you want to rock!  Dresses aren’t for everyone, wear what makes your heart sing.
