The jeweler sized my finger as a 6, but I do not like my rings to be tight.  Knowing that there would be times that my hands would be swollen, I insisted on ordering a 6.5. I am so glad that I did.

Yes, most of the time, my ring twists to the side, and yes, if I shake my hand, my ring will go to the knuckle.  However, it will not fall off with normal activity.  I have to choose to remove it.

On days that my fingers are swollen, and because I am now married and wear a wedding band (and sometimes an anniversary band as well), my rings can feel tight.  However, they aren’t too tight or uncomfortable.  They definitely would have been if I had ordered a 6.

Only you can decide what feels best to you, but I would suggest that if your ring feels comfortable under all conditions and cannot fall off of your hand, even if it does easily move around ON your finger, it is probably the correct size.
