What do you ladies think? Do you like this dress with or without the sash?? It's a little pricey... Like half the cost of the dress, but I would definitely sell it after the wedding... Thoughts!?

I think it's too much, especially with the ruching on the bodice and the ruffles on the skirt.

i think without the sash you look longer and leaner and it really highlights you instead of the dress. ;)

Do you not have the beaded sash that came with the dress?  I don't think the flowered sash compliments the dress as well.

i like it better without.  If your looking to wear a sash try something a little smaller...i think this one, while pretty with some dresses, kind of takes away from the beauty of yours.

I like it both ways. I'd probably skip it due to the price though.

In my opinion, the dress looks much better without the sash. With it, it becomes too busy. You look gorgeous though! :)

I agree that you look leaner w/o it. Normally, I love sashes like that, however not in this case. It's too much with all of the detailing on the dress...

if you want something at your waist, i'd vote for a light, neutral ribbon--either matching the dress, or champagne.  but that sash, while very pretty, makes the dress too busy, as other posters have mentioned.

i'd go without the sash, it draws the eye straight to it and away from you...once you add jewelry i think the look will be complete and beautiful!

I think it overpowers the dress.  If you want to add a belt, I think a beaded narrow belt would look great.

Thanks bees! I am leaning towards without - it's just such a beautiful sash!

i agree with previous posters, no sash! there are already many horizontal lines on your dress, adding a sash will make it look too busy.

Unfortunately, that big flower sits right at your thinnest point- making it look less thin. Not the look most of us assume you're going for. :)

    NO sash!

You have a fabulous figure but I feel like the sash squishes you while the 2nd pic makes you look long and leaner.  The sash is beautiful, but not for that dress - too much going on!

I agree, I think the sash is too much.  I would go with a simple sash if you would really like one, or maybe a simple beaded one, but the flower is too much in my opinon.  Beautiful dress though!

I think that sash is too much but I think a different sash would add to the dress

The flowered sash hides your waistline. If you want to add something, a beaded or just satin ribbon sash would probably work better.

I do not think you should use the sash... its too much! The dress is beautiful just as it is! Looks great on you.

Tough call! It looks awesome either way! Maybe a beaded or satin ribbon like Goldilocks suggested? Gorgeous dress, you look great!

I agree with the bees, the flower one seems too much with the ruffled trumpet but if you are set on wearing a sash--I love the idea, (even if just for the reception for that glam touch) then I would consider a thinner beaded/rhinestone one that will highlight your tiny waist rather than distract from it. You can check etsy or I have one in the classifieds that might be pretty...take a peek :)

I guess it's kind of hard to see in my picture, but my dress came with a beaded sash when I bought it.  I think that just that touch of sparkle is perfect.

I adore your dress without the sash. It doesn't need it. You look stunning!

I think the sash is beautiful but it looks like the poufy part is hitting right at the narrowest part of your waist, so it's more flattering without.

Pass on that sash. If you really want one, you can find something that looks better and costs less elsewhere. A sash like @dpham67 is wearing above would look perfect, just like it does on her!

I love the sash idea, but maybe one that is less.  It definately overwhelms that dress.

I think that sash distracts from the rest of the dress. You look stunning in it and it's so flattering on it's own. I'm not a fan of embellishments though so I may be a little biased!

I too, like it without the sash.

If you're gonna go for it, however, I am sure there are people on Etsy who will make one just like it for you at a fraction of what the bridal salon is charging.

I think that a sash would work. Just not the one that you have on.

Maybe one with some rhinestones or something like that.

It's a beautiful sash, but like others said, I think it's a bit much for the dress. I think it's pretty by itself, or with a simpler sash.

That particular sash is doing nothing for your figure at all...I think that a very thin beaded sash like dpham67 has on would be much better...but the dress looks great sash-less too!
