Oh I love the crystal Sash! I think that is so pretty, but I love bling on a wedding dress. Easy decision to me because if you don't like the flowers and say they're not "you" then change them! Wear what you love!

Hi Bees! I need your help! I ordered the "Geraldine" dress by Sottero and Midgley, and I'm wondering what to do about the waistline. I'm sort of indifferent about the flowers — they are really pretty, but not very "me," plus my mom keeps saying she doesn't like them, which makes me feel like "OK, great, my mom won't like my dress if I just keep the flowers." Anyway... the lady at the bridal salon says they're easily removed, and then it'll just be the satin waistband. I'm trying to decide if I should put a light-ivory ribbon sash with a crystal embellishment around the waistband (or is that silly?), or have the crystal embellishment sewn directly onto the waistband (or will that look weird), or just keep it simple (or will that be too blah?). Here are photos of the dress and the crystal embellishment and/or sash I am considering (although the ribbon will be ivory and a little thinner). Sorry the pics are enormous!
