I need some more advice on my dress. I decided that this is the one with some help from the Bee. Now I need help to decide if I should wear a sash or not. I feel my dress is a bit plain and I am not a bit jewelery person, so I would like to wear a crystal beaded sash with the dress. My question is would it be too much. I have pictures of me in the dress as well as photos of the type of sash I am considering.

It’s hard to say w/o seeing it on there……There is so much pretty detail so my vote is for no just based on seeing it w/o pics.

@weddingbound: I agree, unless the OP went with a plain sash, such as ivory or champagne, for a pop of color. I think something with so many jewels would make the dress a bit busy.

I almost ALWAYS vote for a sash but in this case, I don’t think you need one at all. Your dress has a lot of beautiful detail. If you do one, I wouldn’t do anything as thick as what you’re looking at – keep it to a thin crystal band. Maybe something like this: http://www.etsy.com/listing/87822816/beaded-rhinestone-crystal-bridal-sash?ref=cat_gallery_9.
Beautiful dress btw!

Thank you @angarrett81 , I really like the thin sash. I will try the dress on with sashes when I go to pay for it.

You look gorgeous in your dress already! I don’t think you need a sash.

You have the perfect hourglass figure. No need for a sash with those hips!

You don’t need a sash, your gorgeous dress already has a lot of intricate detail.

If you did a sash, I would do something much more simple than those. Maybe a satin ribbon with a LITTLE bit of blingage?

I don’t really think your dress is all that plain, to be honest… You seem to have a lot of detail, especially in the bodice. If you were going to do a shash, I would go with something more plain, rather than the ones you picked out.
