The wedding is O-V-E-R! And we need our house back! BUT, although when I was planning (and searching) it seemed everyone wanted milk glass and burlap runners, now I don’t see anyone seeking these things! I actually got almost all of our milk glass from another local bee and handmade the runners (18″w x 96″L, hemmed). Should I even bother putting an ad up? Or is the rustic/milkglass/burlap way overdone? Any suggestions on where else I could possibly sell this stuff? Thanks!

I’m totally interested in the milk glasses, how much are you asking for and how many pieces are there total? Are you willing to ship to Canada?

Put an ad up! Just because they’ve been done, doesn’t mean nobody is looking! If I knew table sizes, I would be interested in the burlap!

What do you have to lose?
I’d try listing the vases for local pickup/on Craigslist, just because shipping them seems super expensive and like a possible nightmare with breakage.

@janine0711: I know how you are feeling! I am sorting thru my stuff any trying to sell it all too! Seems like it’s harder to sell than buy. I have mine up in the classifieds but the way the new classified are here on the bee the adds easily get lost int he shuffle since there is no way to bump them up. Good luck selling it all. I thought of also posting on craigslist too.

Thanks all! I think I will post them. I’ll try here first since I was helped by a bee myself! Then craiglist. Good point about the potential nightmare of shipping! I have to go thru them all to get a list together but there are more than 60 pieces of milk glass for sure. I’m not sure on price or shipping just yet. The burlap runners are 18″W x 96″L and fit 72″ rounds (seats 10) with a foot (12″) overhang on each side. I have 21 and I was thinking either 10$ a piece or all for $200. That would make them less than I could find them for in this size on etsy. @weddingbound Gook Luck to you too!
