If it were me, I’d put it in the back of a closet (be it yours, your parents, best friends, storage unit etc.) and re evaluate it when you need to. I always end up coming back to my original choice after the indecision sinks in. But that’s my .02!

I would sell the dress and repurchase when your date gets closer. So much can change between now and then – such as the feel of your wedding and/or the theme. You will be able to find a dress that you will fall in love with again.

You don’t have to decide now. Compromise. Put it away for 6 months and if you still feel this way after that time then order a new one.

I’d sell it now. You’re not happy with it, and I’ve never read about a girl who become “really happy/sure” about a wedding dress she was so unsure about from the beginning. I don’t know why, but it just doesn’t seem to be that way.

You won’t get nearly as much for it the longer you wait. So you should probably sell it while you can get a good price for it, and if you do decide for some reason you want it later (which I highly doubt) you might be able to barter dress stores against each other (I cut $400 off my $1,400 dress by doing this) and lose little or none.

But seriously, if you’re already not happy about it, I’m pretty sure you’ll become less happy about it over time. The best I’ve seen is people who “settle” because they don’t want to spend the money or hurt someone’s feelings by selling the original dress. I’ve never read about a girl on here who posted her doubts, but ended up being really happy with the original. =

A “one off”? I didn’t catch that… you mean off the rack?
If you sell it and it’s in perfect condition you don’t need to say it’s off the rack (unless it does have some kind of wear or needs cleaning), but you might be able to get the same price for it then, if you already got it at a deep discount?

If not, then I guess you have no choice but to keep it. But you might as well keep shopping. You’ll always wonder if you don’t! If I were you, I’d have to put the “wonder” to rest, one way or another. But I’m pretty obsessive. lol But since didn’t break the bank, so maybe you could just get another one regardless and be much happier. ^_^ But if you don’t look, you’ll never know.
