I went strapless because my shoulders are the thinnest part of my body! I should show 'em off. Lol. Ok, well that and the fact that my FI always says he loves them. I have no idea why but whatev :)
I tried on a bunch of different styles and realized that strapless was the most flattering on me. I had gone in thinking that I would end up with something halter or even boatneck, but strapless dresses just looked the best.
My dress wasn't strapless. I don't think I've ever worn anything strapless, really. Just not my style. I did try on some strapless dresses, and there were a handful of them that I actually liked, but if I'd gone with a strapless dress I would have added straps to it to make me feel more comfortable. I ended up buying a dress that was a v-neck halter top, which I had altered into a v-neck tank top (changing the halter strap to two straps).
I went with straps
I knew I wanted straps or cap sleeves or something to kind of add a little 'somethin somethin' to my shoulders. My clavicle bones don’t show and as a result I have always been very self cautious in anything strapless – it always makes me feel very bulky and or broad. That didn’t stop me from trying on a butt load of strapless gowns; I kept a very open mind. It just so happened that the gown I feel in love with and will be wearing has strap
I think i like good in off the shoulder shirts, but a strapless gown i don't know. Stapless dresses make me look squished in the boob area ha I'm small chested so anything tight strapless looks like i don't know weird! lol I've noticed a lot of women go strapless, but how comfy is it?
i would just try on tons of different styles to find the one that you like best on! I knew I wanted strapless because I love wearing strapless dresses, but trying on is the best way to know if you're unsure
I say straps! My dress is a skinny strap V-neck. I did not want to deal with having to pull up a strapless dress the night of my wedding. I think vneck is more flattering than halter if you have broad shoulders.
I guess it depends on the dress. I have a small frame so either straps or no straps it has to be tight on me to stay on just right lol, but I definitely don't want to be pulling on th dress to fix it.
I went with strapless because I have wide shoulders, and I found anything with straps just emphasized that!

I have always been a big fan of stapless gowns, but lately I've seen gorgeous halter dresses. Every person is different, but why did you choose to go straless...or with straps?
