I purchased Enzoani’s Gertrude two weeks ago. I am SO in love with the dress and would have never tried on the style as I didn’t think it would be flattering on my body. I love everything about the dress, but I’m wondering two things: if I should go to a full sweetheart neckline and if I should wear the belt the dress comes with (it’s ivory) or the black one I purchased. Thoughts?

You look stunning in that dress…and it looks lovely with the black belt 🙂

Gorgeous dress!!! I love the black belt, and I actually like the neckline as is. There’s just the slightest hint of a dip rather than it being straight across. Really pretty!

The belt is beautiful, i love the black. I would also keep the neckline as is. It looks beautiful

Ordinarily I’d vote sweetheart every time. However I think in this case you should leave the neckline as it is and use your black belt – you look absolutely stunning. The original neckline is very elegant with enough of a hint of cleavage – it doesn’t look at all ‘boxy’ like some necklines can. I think that the deeper sweetheart with the belt doesn’t work quite as well – it’s as if the top half of the dress has become too ‘shallow’ and you lose that elegant line.

I’m not a fan of wedding day cleavage, so I have to say no sweetheart. Plus, I love the slight dip. And that black belt looks great!

I think black belts are too trendy, so I say Ivory belt!
