I definitely had a lot of ideas and had to edit it down. Basically I saved images of invitation suites that I liked the best and incorporated the elements I liked the most. I picked my printer first, paper and then started on my design. In hindsight, I probably would have started the design first and then figured out how I would like to get them printed afterwards.
First I saved on my computer tons and tons of inspiration images. I think I did at least four designs before settling on one and refining it. After designing the main invitation card, I moved on to the inserts. I also went through about 6 designs for the belly band. I found the best way to decide what I liked best was to print it on on regular paper, cut it down to the correct size and stare at it and then ask my FI.

Where the heck did you start? I'm feeling really overwhelmed right now. I think it's just that I've spent too much time looking through various invitation suites. Now that I've officially downloaded the Adobe Illustrator 30 day trial, I'm feeling a little bit of pressure. It would be so nice to get advice from Bees who have already done it. Words from the wise please? Thank you in advance!
