I’ll be having an outdoor garden ceremony in November and was unsure about having a mid-waist veil or not. I wanted to have my hair completely down in waves if I don’t wear a veil. But if I do wear a veil it would be half up/half down also in waves.
However, I also need to consider that since its an outdoor ceremony and if its windy the veil might get in the way.
Here are some pics of the wedding dress and venue. Thoughts??

If you’re not 100% in love with the idea of the veil I would say skip it. It’s money you could put to something else and if the wind is blowing you don’t want to be dealing with that (although if its windy and your hair is down you could run into similar problems…)

Normally I would vote veil because I’m a sucker, but I actually think the look you described would look great without one. Ultimately do what you’ll feel the most comfortable in. None of our opinions can take that into account.

Maybe you can borrow a veil from a friend and see how you feel when you put it on. Although a veil is definitely not necessary, you may find that it makes you feel more like a bride! If you borrow it then there is no harm in changing your mind.

skip the veil! The dress and your hair sounds like it should be beautiful without it.

I vote no veil. Maybe some kind of hairpiece could still work.

I vote no veil the dress is fab without it. The look you described is awesome. A nice hairpiece would do.
