I'd have to see them on, but I think just from looking at the photos, I like the mantilla style veil better with your dress. I think because your dress is more fitted, I like a slimmer, less puffy veil.
Having said that, if you aren't feeling the veil, you definitely don't have to wear one. I didn't wear one and I'm glad I didn't. I just felt weird when I had them on and I liked my dress better without a veil.
Btw, your dress is beautiful. Who made it?
@HouseofJ and @Jessi516:
Thank you both so much. I got my dress at Brides by Demetrio and it's part of the Ilissa Collection.

So I was playing dress up tonight in my wedding attire and realize that I dont really think I want to wear my veil. So far I've bought two. When I first bought each I thought they were perfect... and then I kept looking and bought another one. Both COMPLETELY different. One is an Ivory Fingertip Mantilla that's so gorgeous however tonight when I put it on I was really unsure. It wasnt like that last time I put it on. Is that normal? LOL
The first one I bought was less dramatic. It's also Ivory but this one is elbow length, kind of puffy with faux pearls and Ivory trim. I know that the important question here is, "Well, what does the dress look like?"
It's ivory lace, strapless, french bussled and has a nude undertone (with which I will be wearing my mothers pearls). Is a veil too much and does it take away from my dress? What do you think?
