we didnt toast – but we did say a few brief words before dinner was served – basically a big thank you for coming in case we couldnt get around to everyone.

we only had teh MOH and best man toast – we also had our officiant say a blessing before eating.

We didn’t have a bridal party, so no toasts from them, but we did have each of our dads make a short thank you and welcome before dinner started.

We’re going to say a little something before we cut the cake. Our dads aren’t speaking since neither of them are particularly outgoing, but thats another option.

We are having a lot of toasts because our families looove toasting.

We are having toasts from the following people:

MOH

Best Man

my brother

his sister and his brother (combined)

my parents (combined)

his dad and stepmom (combined – short)

his mom and step dad (combined (short)

maybe my grandparents who are contributing a large amount of money to the wedding.

US!

it sounds like a lot but we are having a long receptio and these will be spread out throughout the evening.  Toasts are one of my favorite part of wedding receptions so I’m excited.
