Tell him how you feel, maybe he will understand and not be so opinionated about your dress!

What are your likes and dislikes from dresses you’ve tried on?  Is there some style that you haven’t tried on that you’re interested in?

What are your FI likes and dislikes?

I think it’s good to take your FI into consideration but I know for me I had something in mind and it completely changed when I saw the dresses on me.  So take others opinions that aren’t dress shopping with you with a grain of salt and trust that you have good enough taste to pick out something that actually looks good on.

Can you ask your fi to email you some pics of dresses he likes and then start there?  Also, there were plenty of times I got burnt out on one project or another during planning.  Maybe you just need to tak a break for a few days and revisit it later and it’ll be fun again.

FI was being kind of picky too. I told him to show me a couple dresses he liked or what he liked ABOUT them and then I knew what direction to go in.

Too bad for him!!  Get what you want.  Its fine to take a break, its so easy to burn out looking at dresses.  I’m on my third break.  If you have the time, take it.  You don’t need to rush to find somehting.

My dress is a “Slim” ball gown, so you get that princess like look with out all the poofyness. I love it.

I would suggest taking a break, just don’t think about it for a couple of days, maybe take new people with you when you go shopping, get a new perspective.

Oh, I just saw the other two you said you like.  You might like the one I wore.  It’s a Casablanca 1938
