Just took out a pumpkin pie out of the oven, and will be making some turkey later with roasted potatoes. Mmmm, can't wait for dinner!

We have the same weather north of the border: windy, chilly, grey and (today) wet.

It is totally an oven-baking day.

I baked shepherd's pie with a cauliflower-potato topping yesterday, and I'll be warming it in the oven for when FH gets home from work.

@Ivorybuttons: Yeah, it's been cold this weekend, and grey. I haven't had shepher'd pie in a while..that sounds really delicious right about now!

Yep did that last weekend but roasted a chicken instead. Really wanted Thanksgiving dinner early but the store closest to us didn't have birds under 25lbs! Not for 2 people. Would so be breaking out my pumpkin cookbook today if I didn't have to work tonight!
