YAY! Everyone will be paid off by the end of the month! I finally booked a videographer and a new dj (the old one was a family member that was unreliable). My cake topper finally came in last week. I will get my flower girls their accessories and gifts. I have to get FH some clothes for the honeymoon as his b-day gift (his b-day is Friday).
Next month we will be done with our dance classes and will be able to spend Dec. 23-Jan 1 with our families!
So much! I am soooooooooooo excited!
I'm getting SO excited!!!!! I have quite a bit left to do, and now have a new job and moving to a new apartment in a town an hour away in there too! I have my bachelorette party, 2nd bridal shower, programs to figure out, favors, OOT guest bags, next dress fitting, bridesmaids fittings, get everything else paid for, finish up party gifts and parents gifts.. and that's all I can think of at the moment!
WHOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Seriously it feels like it just keeps going faster! I might FREAK out on Dec. 8 when I realize I only have a month!
I've had all of my showers, my bachelorette party, I'm ready to go! Next is my 2nd fitting on Dec. 11 and I'll be picking out makeup that day. I should probably start working out...HA whoops. I start my first 'big girl' full-time job next Monday then I graduate the 18th of Dec. (They'll obviously work with my class schedule until then but I only have one class on-campus now) :)
I have to pay the rest of our vendors off and do menus, programs...oh who am I kidding, I've got tons to do haha. But I'm sooooo excited!
Yay! I am not technically a January bride, but pretty close!
We are buying some Trader Joe wine this weekend when we are in St. Louis. We get to bring in our own alcohol.
My final fitting, hair trial, and make-up trial are all December 4. LOL. We have had both of our showers, and my bachelorette party is December 18.
Flowers are done, alcohol is done, food is done...Meeting with the officiant next week.
Umm, still need to finalize cake, finish getting RSVP's, book our room for the wedding night, etc. Nothing major!
It seems like once we hit 3 months, someone hit fastforward. I could've sworn that we were 50 days away last week. lol
My RSVP deadline is Wednesday, but we have not received half of them. I praying that we get about 50 in the mail tomorrow.
@Lindsay: You're thiiiiiiiiiiiis close and we accept you on our boards :D It sounds like SO much is coming together for you, how exciting!!!
@trugem: I'm cracking up because I told my FI today before I left for work: "You better have 67 RSVP postcards in your hands or I'm not coming home" We had 5. *sigh. Yet ANOTHER RSVP who added someone on who wasn't invited....it's starting to stress me out!
@KansasPrincess11: lol We received a few more, but not enough. I am hoping that we have at least half tomorrow.
Someone asked me to send another invite because they moved. lol
@Lindsay12.31.2010: even though you're a December bride we are almost date twins so its cool! Dec 4th seems like a huge day for you. Good Luck!
RSVPs are fun but annoying at the same time. I get very excited when I see them come in but very annoyed that we dont have more by now.
trugem my deadline was initially wednesday as well but I pushed it back to Monday.
More RSVPS needed!
Our RSVP due date is December 1st for the 1-1-11 wedding date and we have gotten about 30 out of a hundred cards back. I don't want to think about making calls yet... FSIL says his side of the family is not likely to send back the cards. He's a little miffed that his cousins totally dissed his sister's attempts to throw a party for them close to his home town- five people showed up out of about 30 invitees. FWIW, all of the other parties/showers have gone well. Does kind of bug me that we wasted 7 bucks and postage on each of these folks.
@FMILady: I found out yesterday that people are waiting until today (the deadline) to mail them. My caterer wants the numbers by Dec. 1. Hopefully, we will have all of the numbers by Monday.
Thanks for the acceptance! :-) I love chatting with brides who are getting married so close to each other!
Oh ladies! I've been so busy and I totally agree with you, trugem, about the fast forward!
I am figuring out our make-up and hair and have a few trials set up with vendors. I had my bridal shower on Sunday (I was COMPLETLY surprised!) and am busy with Thank you notes. Final fitting in the near future, in a week we have a mock up with our florist and meeting with venue to discuss timeline etc. We still need to figure out out placecards, table cards, cake topper, veil/headpeice, whether or not we'll have programs, finalizing our ceremony/readings and finalizing music.
Ummmm so I'm 48 days out. Holy moly where did the time go?! Our rsvp deadline is 12/1 and we still have about half outstanding!! Looks like I will be busy on the phone the next week!
@trugem: Same here, just need to find the time to call people... got about 25 people I'm still needing to hear from :(
It's the gooofy folks who don't write their names on thr rsvps!!!! I will be making phone calls. Fun. (not)
LOL If you check out my thread, someone sent in a late RSVP and they RSVPed for 12 people! FILs are trying to get it contact with them.
I can't help, but laugh.

Just looking at my calendar and I realised in exactly a month from today FI's parents will be flying in!
This is really happening!
The day is almost here!
What exciting things do you Jan bees have going on over the next few short weeks?
