I love your kitty stories. :)
Do you have pictures of them eating the turkey!? I have this mental picture of a gorgeous turkey on a beautlful platter in the middle of a yard with cats climbing over each other to get to it -- too funny!
Actually I cut it up for them or there would be one hell of a feline battle! I do not have time to take pictures - they are are gobbling the turkey as fast as I can cut it! But at least they get to enjoy the taste again with the turkey and rice cat food! I distribute the turkey on many, many plates.

A day later than usual - traditionally on Black Friday - but we had to wait an extra day because the bird was not thawed in time. So Kitty Thanksgiving was today! Squeaky, one of my original cats carefully stood guard by the stove for almost 6 hrs, - carefully guarding the turkey! Finally it was done and serving was quite a trick - frantically mewing cats everywhere. An eighteen pound bird has been devoured by 45+ cats! Heaping plates were distributed outside amongst the ferals and the excitement was something to behold. I am now boiling down the carcass and the giblets to make a batch of turkey and rice cat food. A very messy affair - much kitchen clean-up awaits. But I do believe this may be my most favorite "holiday" of them all!
