Such an exciting time for you! Happy to hear everything is going well. Good luck on the move :)
Congrats! Bonus on the extra $$ on the final paycheck, and good for you for planning to volunteer while you're up here :-) I hope that you enjoy the MN experience.

I'm a little sad but mostly excited! I worked at a group home so I'll miss the kids but I no longer have to work nights and I get the much needed break from the stress that job caused. I also found out that I had 44 hours of leave time left that I'll get paid for on my last check (I though I had like 16 hours and didn't know I got paid for it if I didn't use it).
So now I focus on spending time with family, packing, and finding the ever elusive rental house. In less than two weeks my husband will start his job in Minnesota that will potentially pay him alone more than four to five times what we made together (probably at least four times what we made, possibly more depending on how much overtime he decides to take on). Plus we get the new adventures together and get to explore new cities. And since his job can move us pretty much at any time, I'm going to take the time to volunteer a lot of the time like I've wanted to for a while.
So yeah, I'm really excited!
