My wedding is at 4:30 today. Its pretty small, supposed to be 20 people at a small lake/beach and then dinner at our house.I dont think thats going to happen. Its supposed to have down pours, thunderstorms, and 15 mph winds all day. 🙁
Our back up plan is to have it in my livingroom. Im going to hang some white sheer curtains over my french doors, light some candles, and use that as my backdrop. Pretty disappointed as ive always wanted an outdoor wedding.. Im afraid my dress is going to look silly in my little house and my walls are a pale pumpkin color. Generally I like them but not for wedding pics! Ugh!
Now that I have all the complaining out of the way I need to try to stay positive and start cleaning my house!

Happy wedding day!!! I am sorry to hear about the rain messing up your outdoor wedding plans. Maybe by 4, it will clear up just for you? But either way, I wish you many blessings in your marriage. enjoy your special day!

Don’t worry too much about it. At least you have a plan B. The morning of my wedding it poured like crazy but by the time I had to leave my house to go to the church the sun had come out the weather forecast even said thunderstorms. So I hope the same for you. Hope you enjoy your day!

I hope it clears up for you! Don’t worry about it, you will make your livingroom look lovely! and it is your wedding day! It will be amazing no matter what happens! Make sure to get out a pretty umbrella and get some amazing romantic photos while the rain is out!
If you have the time and money, you could borrow or rent a tent cover/ small marquee (we have these open sided ones in the UK) that you could stand under outside just for the ceremony.

aprilynn: Happy wedding day! It rained so heavily on my wedding day that it ended up being the rainiest day of the year. Literally had fifteen minutes without rain during which we ran outside to take photos. And it was still a wonderful day! Keep your chin up 🙂
