My son is 10 months old and I bought a reusable swim diaper. It is sooo cute on him to.  He also has a swim shirt on and a hat.

Ages ago I used to work at a public pool and kids in diapers were always required to wear some sort of swim bottoms. Diapers absorb too much water and weigh them down & they can also break down and end up in the filters.

Personally I don’t think it’s any different if they’re wearing a regular diaper or little swimmers, if they’re going to pee/poo in the water it’s all the same in the end.

If it was an actual pool, I would have said he should really have a swim diaper.  Since it was just a sprinkler and not actually submerged IN water, I think a diaper was fine.  Though of course the swim diaper is best if you have one.

Is this America? You have public sprinklers? Amazing! Quite jealous.

I’m english and thought you meant garden sprinkles where we used to just go au natural as littluns!
