Hey Ladies of the Toledo, Ohio area!
I would like to ask what places everyone had a great time with! I am stressing hardcore about finding a place that I am in love with as well as budget friendly. More information.. my budget for the reception is around $11k.
Has anyone had their reception at Tamaron Country Club? I won $1000 off my wedding package if I book there. Which is great, but Im not sure! Ha!
Places I am looking at now:
Tamaron, Parkway Place, Carranor, Toledo Country Club, Toledo Club, Heatherdowns Country Club, Brandywine Country Club, The Toledo Mud Hens, The Oliver House, Premier Banquets… i think thats it.. ha.
Has anyone had their reception at any of the above places? Thoughts?
Help me out please! Im starting to stress!! Bad!!

I’m having my reception at the Toledo Club. I just hosted my sister’s baby shower there, which was in a completely different room than what any of the wedding events would be in, but it was very nice. Have you seen the main dining room? Holy GORGEOUS everything! ! The room is so incredible that it takes your breath away. The drapery & the windows…and you don’t use chair covers bc their chairs are like an oak and fancy style! I hate chair covers so I was super excited! You get to choose between silver or gold chargers. While I was there for my sister’s baby shower, I went and showed a few people the main dining room…they were setting up for a 50th anniversary party & all they had were small vases with flowers in the center of the tables & I’m telling you that the place didn’t need anything more! It looked like it should’ve been in a magazine! Plus they whole place is so beautiful & perfect for several photos. There’s a beautiful staircase that they do bridal party pictures on. They offer you the opportunity to use a few different rooms to keep the guests entertained and with different scenery. And their food is fantastic. ..regardless of what you choose there! I’m obsessed with The Toledo Club!
I went to a wedding at Tamaron Country Club. The venue is decent…you definitely need to decorate & have nice centerpieces. The food was disgusting…I would’ve rather had dog food.
Brandywine is nice…but I’m not sure about the rest of the places.

- Wedding: November 2014 - Nazareth Hall
Not in Toldeo, persay, but have you checked out Nazareth Hall in Grand Rapids? I am from the Cleveland Area and I found that venue just doing an internet search. I am SO pleased with how helpful and quick to respond they are! We aren’t getting married until November but so far so good and I’ve heard nothing but good things about their food. We are planning on having around 170-180 people for around $10,000
