esi142:  It goes by fast just like every other event thats exciting so try to relax, enjoy the time with everyone who is coming. I can’t say right now there is anything I wish I did or didn’t do to be honest. I had a great time at my shower, excited for the bachelorette coming up and even more excited for the wedding as RSVP’s keep rolling in 😀

Wow that’s great, I have a tip by which your day become memorable just do one thing -Tuck handwritten notes into the napkins for your guests , in which there a message like-write about your favorite memory together or simply tell them what they mean to you.

Make sure someone takes diligent notes of who gave what. Bring a little notebook for this  Have another person in charge of collecting all cards. Have your bridesmaids make an assembly line – one person hands you a gift, another cleans up wrapping paper as you open, a third stacks opened gifts neatly, etc. my girls did this and it was fantastic. It cut down on the time everyone was staring at me so I was happy

I felt awkward opening gifts in front of everyone (like most people do) – so I found myself talking about the person whose gift I was opening – something small or a little anecdote of your relationship. I got a lot of good feedback from people about it – they loved hearing the little stories! It made me feel like it was more about the person and less about the gift. It happened spontaneously for me, after I had started opening the gifts, and I wish I had thought of it earlier, so I’d have a story or description for everyone!
