YES! It makes me so excited. I have the red crochet ones, I am super stoked about them. My BMs aren't wearing them though, since they didn't all have them and I didn't want them to have to pay for them.
Oh ha. Those would be the ones I am wearing! They were limited edition so you may have issues finding them in the right size. My FI called all the stores within like a 5-6 hour radius and got the last of them in my size.
Eugh. I find Toms so ugly. I understand that they're comfortable, but they're just not attractive. I think they're going to be looked back on as the Crocs of this decade.
I am not a fan of Toms. I guess they could work if the dresses are long and will cover their feet. To me, they look like shoes my grandma wears (no offense to my grandma or anyone who likes Toms!).
Ehhhh. Toms are definitely not my style, and I'd never wear them. But, if you think they'll work for your wedding and your BMs, go for it!
I think people either HATE Toms (me! sorry..), or LOVE them. I know FSIL would be thrilled at the chance to wear them as a BM, but my others would probably want to kill me. So it totally depends on the BMs' style and what you want them to look like!
If your BM's like the idea... (make sure and see how they take the idea...) go for it! I would plan on having a pair for yourself though, at least for the reception and some pictures... (as long as your wedding isn't very formal and more 'playful' (for a lack of a better word..)) If one of your main purposes is to make them shorter I would just ask them to find a pair of flats though...
I like them and I know my BMs would love them! If they fit with the style of your wedding, I say GO FOR IT!
I love them and would wear them all the freakin time. I'd ask your BM's. If at least half are on board then I say go for it. I think they're lovely and fun!
I hate them and would never wear them personally. But it's your day! Would you be purchasing them for your BMs, or having them purchase them in addition to the dress? $60 for shoes that I would never wear again wouldn't thrill me. But I'd do it with a smile on my face :-)
TOMS always remind me of old people orthopedic shoes... so for me personally, it would be a no go in my wedding. But you have to go with your own style and I do love the charity the TOMS brand participates in.
@KatyElle: yeah but they aren't comfortable orthopedic shoes. The charity that Toms support is great but the shoes are not of great quality. I feel that my FSIL replaced hers three times this summer alone, and for 60 dollars that is pretty expensive.
I find TOMS incredibly uncomfortable...maybe I have weird shaped feet or something. If you want them in flats, I think you could find cuter ones.
@expecting rain: I know, I got a pair from my MIL. Not my favorite shoes, I think I wore them once.
I think TOMS are a great idea! Not only are they comfortable and trendy... but a pair of shoes is donated to a child in need for each pair purchased. Can't send a better message then that!
I hate flats with a short dress, so if the dress was short and I had to wear flats, I'd die... haha, not really, I'd wear anything for a friend. But I would certainly bring heels for the reception to make myself more comfortable.
Honestly, I hate all of the flat Toms and really don't care for the ones you posted - I'm sorry !! :(
That being said... I'm wearing the wedge versions when I can't take my heels anymore:

I don't think they look anything like real Toms. Maybe try those? They have them in all kinds of patterns and colors.
I personally like toms, but I voted no. I think it might be one of those things you look back on in a decade and regret. That said, I really do think those crochet ones are cute! I just worry about your pictures looking really dated.
@KristenGotMarried: saw these at Nordstrom over the summer - love them! perfect summer shoes. I love the printed canvas ones.
I think that a more structured ballet flat with a similar look may be a good idea. I love the look of Toms but most people don't. I just think it may look out of place with a bridesmaids dress.
They are fine to wear every day (although I don't know if I'd buy them)...but I think they're too homely(sp?) for a wedding
I think you should do whatever you want. I wore Birkenstocks as a bride. !!!!
(No, not the sandals! Birks have a million cute shoes by Tatami and Footprints.)
I don't think those are really bridesmaid shoes. Not for me, anyways.
I'm wearing TOMS with my wedding dress. I bought plain white ones and decorated them in my wedding colors. I can't wait!
A good friend got married and bought all the bridesmaids the silver sparkly Tom's to wear at the reception. It was really nice, especially since I was really wanting to take off my heels. Downside, I have no where to wear sparkly Tom's, and Tom's are just not my style. I have worn them once since her wedding. I would not have wanted to wear them for her ceremony, but later into the reception they were great!
DO IT!!! I'm having the sparkly white TOMS for my reception footwear and I love it. Besides, the ladies will thank you for the comfort.

I found these the other day and was thinking of maybe doing them for my bridesmaids as my wedding colors are navy and red, and the girls will be wearing navy dresses. Also, I am only 5'2 and they are all over 5'6 so it might be nice to have them all in flats.
Is anyone else thinking of doing TOMS shoes for their wedding?
