Oh, that is so horrible. He was so young. Thoughts and prayers are with you, your friend and their families. :(
It's hard to lose someone so young. One of my old co-workers passed in March after a heart surgery didn't go well, she was only 20 years old.
My thoughts are with you both and your friend.
How sad for your friend.
It does serve as a reminder to hold our loved ones that little bit closer.
I'm so sorry for her loss...that's awful.
I had a friend die at the age of 24 due to a brain tumor and I try to keep perspective as often as I can ever since then...every day is truly a gift.

Tonight a friend of ours lost her boyfriend to cancer. He was only 22.
It just really makes you think, you know? I really reminds me that I am so lucky to have my DH and all the people in my life...and that every day is a gift.
Please keep her and his family in your thoughts/prayers.
