Need some advice here… I made this beaded necklace in an attempt to DIY part of my bridesmaid gifts. Their dresses are french blue and strapless, so I was going for more of a feature jewelry piece… Thoughts? Too bulky? If anything, I may swap out the grey pieces for coin pearls…

I like it! I wore something similar (even a little more chunky) as a bridesmaid a few years ago and thought it looked great. I never thought I’d wear such a chunky necklace again (I’m a small pendant or pearls girl), but I wear that necklace all the time and always get compliments. If you like it, go for it!

I LOVE this necklace! You did a fabulous job on them, and I love the idea of chunky necklaces for the Bridesmaid or Best Man – it will really pop in the photos!

I like it. Last summer I wore something similarly chucky with a strapless and it was pretty.

no such thing as too bulky when it comes to accessories! GO BOLD!

I would love to see this with one of the dresses (even a stock photo). I think with today’s trend of statement jewelry, these are perfect. 🙂 I bought my girls dainty little necklace/earrings sets early on in the planning process, and now wish I’d gone more along this route.
