If you O’ed at the beginning of that window (the 9th), you’re 11DPO today and at the end of that window (the 12th), then you’re only 8DPO.  Some people get BFPs at 11DPO but it’s still really early…and I doubt you’d get a BFP at 8DPO even if you were pg.  I’d wait a few days longer if I were you.  Where are you getting that window of the 9th through 12th from?

It wouldn’t hurt to test, but if it’s BFN you still have time.

I also O’d on or around the 11th/12th and I have been driving myself crazy. I took a test this morning and got a BFN…so I am going to wait until after this weekend and try to test again if AF doesn’t come. I knew today was too early to test but I couldn’t freaking help myself LOL

Let us know how your test turns out!

@figgnewton:  I don’t know anything about that pregnancy date calculator from babycenter.  How did it determine when you O’d?  Is it basing it on actual signs like temps and/or OPKs?  Or is it just based on how long a typical cycle is for you?  If it’s simply based on a normal length of your cycle, then there’s no way to tell when you O’d so it could still be very early.  But there’s no way to tell without actually knowing when you O’d.

As far as I know, the babycenter calculator assumes an average 28 day cycle with ovulation on CD14 if you give it the date of your last period.  Therefore, it is pretty much impossible to know when to test unless you know when you ovulated.  If you know your average cycle lengths, you could try testing around when you expect AF but if you ovulated later than normal you may get BFNs much earlier and will have to wait to either get a BFP or for AF to finally show.  Good luck!
