Do you think this song is too fast for a processional? Its the Piano Guys Rockelbel’s Canon

I have a 6 person bridal party, but the aisle is very short. We won’t be having Gmas or Gpas walk down aisle ( they are all very eldery) so it would just be parents ( which wa can maybe do during pre-clude?) and bridal party not flower girls or ring bearers

I will maybe have the dj cut out the ‘drum’ part in the middle and any long stretches of silence
I have always wanted to walk down the aisle to Canon in D ( my mom did) and I really love this verion but I worry its too fast?
Would love to hear your thoughts!

I think you should walk down the aisle at your wedding to whatever song YOU want, whatever version you like best!
I am walking down the aisle to “Fallin for You” by Collbie Caillat because it is a meaningful song to my Fiancee and I. I have had people tell me it’s too fast, not traditional enough… It is our wedding and all that matters is what we think. 🙂

Thank you! Sorry for the messy post- I hit enter too fast!
I love the Collbie Caillat Song!! its beautiful
I think 5 minutes should be sufficient for myself and the girls to get down the aisle…right? It is pretty short. Im worried about running out of time :-0

Boxerlover24: I like it! It’s so different, it kind of makes me want to change my entrance song to this. Also, normally the bride comes in to a totally different song than the wedding party. The bride gets her own song. Of course, it’s your wedding so do what you want. I would totally use this song though! I’m thinking about switching songs now

ErinEllen: Thanks! And isnt it great? Super different!!
I am actually having the Dj add a regular version of Canon in D at the end for when I walk 🙂 We are doing the Rockelbel version for my bridesmaids!!

Boxerlover24: I think that’ll be fun. I’m thinking of using it for my entrance if I can get my dad to agree to it (he’s kind of a traditional guy) but I’m thinking we will kind of sway down the aisle to it maybe to make it flow more with the music rather than just stepping one foot in front like step kind of to the front and side. It’s hard to explain without showing you lol
