    I'm not quite half way through my engagement and am regretting the colors I chose for my wedding. I know the colors will be beautiful, but I don't really feel like they're me. The problem is that I've told my bridesmaids to pick out dresses in those colors and my mom (who is making all the invitations) has bought paper for them. Right now my colors are a blush pink, pale blue and tan. I really want yellow and gray (I didn't choose this at first becuase it seemed to popular but now i just don't care)...I'm thinking I can keep the blue to add some accent? I get married at the end of April and not much has been done yet. Is it too late to change my mind?

    What color are the dresses and paper? If they are the same, why not add yellow and grey?

    Maybe your maids/mom can exchange their purchases?

    That depends on a lot of factors. Has anyone bought a dress? I think it would be hard to tell them to take it back at this point. If not then it depends on what kind of personality each one has. Are they easy going or will they be upset they have spent so much time looking for a dress and now have to start over? Can your mom return/exchange the paper?

    It seems to me that the main issue would be your bridesmaids... If they've bought their dresses already, then you should reimburse them if you expect them to buy a new one (or buy the new one yourself.) But if they haven't, then it really doesn't matter. I don't know how much your mom spent on paper, but you should offer to reimburse her for the new paper if you choose to change it. But really, no one is going to be holding up the paper to the bridesmaid dresses, so so what if the paper isn't in your "color scheme?"

    @Angelz_love:

    I think my mom can exchange the paper..it's from hobby lobby. we're doing a fairly casual wedding and my sister is the only who has bought a dress. She got it on sale for $15 from H&M so I don't think it would be the end of the world to change. I just hate to make everyone else start looking for a dress in different colors

    We changed them and it was no big deal! My mom decided to wait to buy paper so we didn't have to worry about that and none of the bridesmaids bought dresses! They're now gray, yellow, and a bit of royal blue!
