I recently got back in touch with two old friends on Facebook. We were best friends for years but then we drifted apart after high school. I went to college and they stayed home, settled down, and started families.
One of the girls got married last year. I happened to run into one of our mutual friends (who was serving as her BM) the week of the wedding and they called me to invite me last minute. I couldn’t make it though because I already had plans that weekend. The other friend is getting married soon, they haven’t set a date yet but she just bought her dress.
Being that I was such good friends with them, and we’re back in toch now, I feel like I’d like to at least extend an invite to them but out wedding is less than a month away now. The rsvp deadline is the 30th. Should I ask for their addresses and send an invite anyway or is it too late?

I dont think its too late. Since you recently got back in touch im sure they will understand the delay 🙂

I don’t think it’s too late. I would probably just do a verbal invite. Like, call them and say how happy you are to be back in touch with them, and that you’d love it if they could attend.
I’m a tiny bit confused with the timeline though, since it sounds like you reconnected with them last year? I’m curious why they weren’t invited earlier if you’ve been good friends with them again for a year?

@SapphireSun: I ran into a mutual friend last year when I was in town. We excahanged phone numbers last year but nothing ever materialized until they got facebook and we reconnected on there.
