I’m new to WB and need some savvy advice from you folks. First things first, my husband and I eloped last year and now we are having a vow renewal and reception to celebrate with friends and family now that we can.
That said–we are on an a meager budget and cut corners where we could. Our venue is a pavilion we rented at a state park. The pavilion is MASSIVE and we only have about 70 guests (at most) coming. Therefore, we are going to end up with about 20 extra tables that the park refuses to move (and we can’t either b/c they weigh like 500 lbs–CRAZY HEAVY tables).
Any ideas what I could do with the 20 extra tables? We’re doing a classy picnic style potluck (fancy decorations with casual feel). Also, since the park does not allow amplified music at our location, we planned on having lawn games and stuff for entertainment. I was thinking of setting up table games and cute informational displays about me and my husband. We’re accenting everything with sunflowers.
Any suggestions? Even with my best ideas, I could maybe use up 6 more tables…14 more to go???
Thanx in advance!
